RIDGELAND city officials
say they’re moving ahead
with plans on a project that promises
to improve traffic flow on Lake
Harbour Drive. The Mississippi
Department of Transportation (MDOT)
recently gave the city permission
to appraise the property needed
for the $16 million road widening
project....

opened its doors exactly one year
ago Thursday. Spokesmen for the
upscale Ridgeland shopping mall
say although the past year has
been tough on other retail centers
because of the economy, Renaissance
is steadily bringing in new tenants,
continuing construction and hitting
sales goals....

The city of Ridgeland is
inching closer to a start date
on a much-anticipated project designed
to widen one of the city's busiest
east-west corridors. At their meeting
last week, the mayor and board
of aldermen unanimously voted to
begin the bidding process to hire
a right-of-way acquisition agent
for the city...
